Internet dating?

Has anyone tried that internet dating? I did twice and both times my heart was broken. It is not what it adverstises. So tell me, how can I meet a man? It is so hard to now a days? Maybe I am trying too hard?

Just be yourself. Don't rush into things, talk to them man/men for some months before agreeing to anything. I met my husband online. We met in a chat room, not a dating sight. However, we took the time to really get to know each other before meeting and all that. He moved from Australia to be with me and we have been married for 10 years now!

Reply:it worked for me, the first date i had, i stayed a weekend with her, but she had such a hard time getting into my 4x4 pick-up, i guess it just wasn't meant to be. my second was a lady who lived 150 miles away. i went to her house, we went out to a resteraunt, and talked for a couple hours, the next weekend we got a motel room, and she was ready to move in with me.

Reply:I thought the same thing I thought it was goin to take forever to find someone. But you just got to flirt around and then the one that thinks your the one will come to you and stay with you, believe me they'll stick. And you'll also have a lil bit of fun while lookin too.
Reply:it's really not hard to meet guys-- you just have to be the one with the balls every once in a while and approach them... cuz sometimes guys turn into man-giners (means puss)
Reply:i've tried the internet thing and the first time was a real disappointment, but the 2nd time i met a wonderful person... we kept seeing each other till just recently... you have to love yourself before any one else can love you.... the right guy will come along..be patient... join some clubs or co-ed sports teams those are great places to meet new people... goodluck!
