Internet Dating and should i take it seriously?

I know several people have been lucky to meet their soul mate through internet dating , I started talking to this guy (both of us r from different countries) we were conversing for more than 1 yr (via internet, phone and even letters) we've never met (but made plans to) both professed that we were in love with one another.(especially our personalities) then all of a sudden the communication slowed down (after i told him that i was comming for a holiday not near his state but better than being in two different countries) since i visited and return we do not talk should i take all what was said in the past seriously or treat this whole situation as if it never exsist .. or try to communicate with him to see why he stopped communicating ???

Generally speaking, long distance relationships don't work. They are a waste of time, but some things have to be figured out by the person in the situation. Telling you they don't work won't prevent you from trying it anyway.





And he could have "loved" you in some way, but not in the way you are probably wishing for.
Reply:okay I am a bit confused here. When you went on holiday, did you meet him, or just come to the states and go somewhere and not go to see him. If you did not go see him, and were this close then maybe he is hurt by it, and if you did go see him, maybe it scared him and he don't know how to feel... either way, talk to him and find out what is going on and why he feels the way that he does now... internet dating is fickle; it's dangerous, un-serious, and ...pointless





sorry, but you were not in love with him. you were not! because he easily stopped being in love with u





i suggest you cut off contact and find someone new! hang out at a club or bar sometime
