Internet dating question?

I'm really shy so decided to try internet dating to meet some people and if relationship bloomed then thatd be nice also! I've managed to get a good response from some guys and one in particular has sounded so honest and genuine. he said in the past he met a girl online from overseas, dated her for 18 months, became engaged and when he went over to marry her she had became really weird saying he was cheating etc and didnt want to marry him although he claims the whole time he was so honest and loving. it has been a yr since then %26amp; he has some confidence issues %26amp; obviously was hurt alot but is happy finding someone online again. we've exchanged a lot of emails and for once i feel ive found someone with the same wants, interests and outlook on life as me. he has told me he is falling for me even though it has only been a week with daily emailing. I am not sure what to do. he lives 7 hrs away. i dont want an online relationship at the moment %26amp; i'm worried about whether i can trust him...

Internet dating question?
Will, I don't trust that you meet him on-line for one week.. for that matter i don't consider that is my friend right away. You have to have a GAP even they are nice, Who know that he tell you the truth. he might be the one that you don't like .. only you like on-line not in real life. just take it easy don't fall in love right away though. On-line is a fifty-fifty percent BAD %26amp; GOOD.

So be careful...take good care.. don't show you love to much just be yourself.
Reply:Sweetie, a red flag is waving... by him telling you hes falling for you after one week of e-mails... means hes either a player.. or kind of clingy, over-anxious, or desperate. I'd exchange e-mails a while longer and if more flags start waving like him wanting to meet really soon, and seems to be getting attached to quickly, id tell him you might be better off as friends.. theres probablly things hes not telling you about the other girl and the break up as well.. the story seems kinda sketchy.. best of luck though..you can find love on the internet people are doing it all the time these days..BUT remember.. he could be totally different then the person hes portraying, so be careful
Reply:i wouldn't trust this guy as far as i could throw him. It's way way way tooo soon for what he says. he might be a preditor, watch dateline msnbc sometime an see how many guys get arrested . If you meet him or give him any personal info. ur crazy . To many ppl getting kidnaped an killed these days to meet someone online ,, especially this soon. I say NO NO NO .
Reply:loving touching, squeezing each other. how in the hell can you do that on the Internet. just be a male order pride get what you get. come on people are yous really that stupid these days get a life
Reply:Trickey question... you gotta be carefull now of days on the internet. On that note i know exactly where your comming from. I had a relationship on the internet with a boy when i was 15 but I lied and said I was 17, he was 19. We talked like everyday and I seriosuly fell in love with him even though he lived across the country. One day I decided I couldnt take lying anymore and told him the truth. He was so mad he stopped talking to me and I was devestated. That was 6-7 years ago and i still think about him sometimes which is bad. I always wonder waht it would be like to meet him and stuff as we seemed so perfect for each other. I met my current boyfriend online also but it was an accident. We have been together for 2 years and are in love, living together. Just be carefull and take things slowly. best of luck
