Y is it such a joke? No one tells the truth me included. So why is it so popular?

I think it is popular because it is really easy to talk to someone when it isn't face to face. All you have to do is type and press enter and you starter a conversation with a girl instead of having to approach a woman and have to worry about how you look, how your breath is, what your wearing, how your hair is etc. It is a joke though and can be dangerous. It is really stupid if you think about it but some people get really lonely and on the internet you can be anybody you want to be

Reply:It lets you know the person before seeing them. I guess it's easier for some people to be themselves on the internet rather than in person. It eases the tension and it's a lot more convenient than going out and meeting someone. Everyone's busy these days. It's popular because it cuts out the crap and narrows the list down to the potentials.
Reply:Its fun,you meet heaps of cool people from all over, you can pick and chose qualities you like without being judged for it and its a way to get the interaction in our busy lives these days that often dont accomodate for these things!!!





just dont let it overtake your real social life and its really not bad at all... I dont know why people lie about it.. prob becoz some people think it means your desperate, which isnt true at all...





Just be careful not to give out personal info and always be brutally honest, then you cant fail!
