Has anyone had a positive date from internet/dating?

Hi i am new to internet dating and so far all the men I have got to


know have ended up being jerks. I was wandering from both guys and girls,what your experience's have been from internet dating,both good and bad :)

Has anyone had a positive date from internet/dating?
My god internet dating is a Joke! Most who I have talked to are Jerks, losers, players etc. BUT there a few that were nice. You just need to weed the bad ones out. To my surprise! I an still in contact with one who has become my friend.





So yes there has been some positive but there are more not so postive experiences.





Those who do find someone on line are very lucky. I thinki for the most part, its just a bunch of games for both parties. A lot on them sites aren't really looking for someone Special. I just have mixed feelings.
Reply:My boyfriend and I met over the internet... technically, he knew my ex best friend and we started talking... and once we talked to a point we felt comfortable meeting, we met, and been together for 1 year and 4 months. We are so in love... I love him to death!





Not all men are jerks... besides, you don't necessarly need to meet them on the net for them to be jerks
Reply:I tried internet dating a few years ago, ended up making some good chat mates temporarily, only went out on a date with 2 girls - one I lost interest at first sight (sorry I do have standards). The second, I had a great date, drove to her city (1.5hrs from mine) and we went hicking, then had lunch, then went window shopping around town, then had dinner where we got really drunk on wine, so she invited me to stay over.... So the date was good, but then the next day she was no longer interested, she was pretty young and from our chats I knew she was somewhat of a nympo... I think she just wanted another notch on her bedpost... but was still fun... even if I did feel used... (I'm a guy.. I'll get over it eventually...)

While I've had a few enjoyable dates and no bad ones, nothing much has ever come from it. But it's partly my own fault, as I've usually given up after a few weeks on a site.
