I like someone on Internet dating site-how many times shd i send her a msg b4 it seems like i'm stalking her

Hi - I am new to internet dating - saw a girls profile i kind of liked so sent her a nice msg - she replied a couple of times asked me questions and answered mine then nothing- no contact although infered she may be interested - i've sent two since and had no contact - shoud i leave as is or send another - if I send does it sound desperate or that i'm a stalker (lol!!)- I'm kind of old school about girls - you know boy likes a girl, flirts a bit to see if he gets eye contact/reaction then asks her out etc etc. - cant do this on the Internet - also why do i feel funny about chasing/chatting to multiple girls at once on there - is that what people expect - sensible advise please

Depends how long since she last replied. She could simply not be at her computer. Leave it for a bit, if she doesn't get in touch after a couple of weeks, then she obviously isn't interested.


I think people would expect you to talk to more than one person, but I think it might feel wrong because it's like going on lots of "first dates" with girls, ie getting to know them on a one to one basis.


The girls will expect it and are probably also doing the same thing, but if it makes you feel awkward then just talk to one girl at a time
