Internet dating - can you get a refund ?

Have you ever met someone via internet dating, and they have turned out to be a real disapointment ?

Can you return them and get a refund ?

Internet dating - can you get a refund ?
That would depend on the definition of 'disappointment', and to what extent that disappointment displayed itself. For example, if you expected entry on the first date but didn't get it, you may well be disappointed. That would not qualify for a refund.

If, however, the date had misrepresented herself on the website, i.e. posted a picture of a babe but was in fact a minger, then you would be entitled to a full refund, and probably compensation on top as well.
Reply:Is this the itchy girlfriend you have to scratch all the time?

Take your little car, go around all the roundabouts, find a nice pub %26amp; you will meet someone nice..
Reply:are you gonna be out of pocket then?

are they all banging on your door for their money back from you?
Reply:Probably. Tell us the whole story first.
Reply:LOL ...........she didnt put out huh?

Funnily enough the women I meet tend to put out on the first date. I dont know if that says more about me or about them.
Reply:you don't get a refund usually its a few months free of charge
Reply:Dating is just that..... dating! So you meet someone you don't like date someone else. It isn't an arranged marriage web site it's a dating web site. I have met a lot of losers on dating web sites but have had a great 6 year relationship with someone I met on a dating web site. Get over it and move on.
Reply:how dare you-I thought our date went rather well-and you did tell me that you loved me !
Reply:Women practice dismissal, fear, and preoccupation. Men need an opening line, small talk, and to close with getting a telephone number or a date. The number one dating advice for women is "play hard to get".

Obese blobs, (that are secretly 50% of the population), have immature hysteria that causes delirium in good looking women. The environments in this society are .1% good looking women.

There are 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents. No one has ever seen the start of a relationship.
Reply:I highly doubt anyone would refund you just because you didn't like the person...though I think match might actually let you do that come to think of it...i have a link to their site on my list here:

I also have 2 100% free sites listed so that you don't even have to worry about paying to meet someone.
Reply:you bet ye.
Reply:Ahhhhh pobrecito! You should know better then that baby. All this Internet thing is just a game. Only when you get to meet with the person, then you decide if they are worth it. I am so sorry you were disappointed. But you know what? There are lots of fish in the ocean. :)
Reply:I had no disappointments. But then i got to know them a bit before i met up.

As long as you do it within 28 days, you should get a refund. After that i believe you get a replacement. :)
Reply:Are you asking this on behalf of your girlfriend after your vile question earlier in the week? I don't blame her, I would be asking for a refund AND compensation!!
Reply:I Internet dated I got married, now I'm back on the Internet dating service asking other ladies if they will take him off my hands. Forget the refund just take him.
Reply:She's probably wondering the same thing!
Reply:lol!! I think you may be getting your bags packed for you PDQ!!!
Reply:Not myself, but I have heard several nightmare scenarios from a colleague of mine who joined match.com. Its not like the old system of getting tuppence on a bottle folks. Why is you current gf in need of replacement? perhaps you could date the user 'loved" for me. let me know.
