What is your opinion about people internet dating? Is it good or the wrong thing to do??

What do you think about Internet dating and the consequences?
It has pros and cons. I don't believe in falling in love over the internet, rather I think it's another way to meet people. Instead of hitting the bars and clubs, you can meet someone on here and meet them in real life. I don't believe in falling in love with words. I think that those who "fall in love" with someone without having met them are a bit dilusional. People hide behind words and often, they will not be themselves. That's my opinion anyway :-)
Reply:i think that it could be alot easier breaking things off,but its no fun when u cant see them right next to u,that y i dont do long distance or interneting dating,i would rather have a girl that i know is real,and not some 34 year old fat guy over the internet....
Reply:I think its cool, because most people can't always just go into a bar and hook up with someone. So I think its pretty nice to talk for a while get to know each other. But my rule is talk for alot longer than a month and really get to know them ask for updated photos and all. And when you meet do it in a public place. But other wise than that happy dating.
