How to handle a boyfriends internet dating profile?

Found out that my "boyfriend" of 3 1/2 years belonged to a popular internet dating site and wrote 2 females. I questioned him about it and he deined the whole thing. I have the proof that he belonged to the service, just not the e-mails he sent.

He tells me he loves me very much and wants to get married, but if he can't be honest then I will hit the road. Could this have been a test to see if I am the "one".

How to handle a boyfriends internet dating profile?
No, this was a man who has been in a relationship to long for his own comfort, exploring his other options. If he does that kind of thing on line and blatantly denies it, just imagine what he might do in real life. I was engaged to my bf of 4 years and he cheated. Don't ignore the red lights, just because you love him. He has no bizznezz being on the site to begin with. I say make him fess up and if he can't do that, then hit the road!
Reply:Guys don't test, girls do! If he isn't honest, then tell him how you feel. Why don't you ask him to cancel his account on there and have him prove that he does? If he does, then don't worry about his profile. If he won't cancel it then you know something is up with him and two females and know to hit the road. Aparently you know what you need to do or you wouldn't have typed, "If he can't be honest then I will hit the road." You know what you need to do. Good luck!
Reply:That is just wrong! And it would be a very stupid way to 'test' you. You have proof that he is still looking around for girls, he can't be serious about wanting to get married. You've been together for a long time, and you probably love him a lot, but if he's doing this kind of thing, he doesn't deserve it. Dump him. If he wants to be dating on line, let him. But don't be by his side while he's doing it. I mean, that counts as cheating too!
Reply:ignore his contacts
Reply:he is trying to find a better looking women then you.or should i say trying to upgrade!i think there is plenty of fish in the sea and he is not ready to hang his tackle box
Reply:IMHO cheating is cheating, doesn't matter if it's a girl online or a girl down the street.
Reply:well i had this sort of thing too with my ex.. but it was his ex girlfriend who he was messaging and told me he really wasnt.. but if i was you.. i would just let it go and in a few weeks check back if he still has the page if he does tell him what is going on.. and then tell him to delete the page....
Reply:guys do stuff like that all the time. i know a guy who belonged to a couple while he was dating a girl for like 5 years. she found out, they broke up. i would just get it out in the open and let it be known. if he breaks up with you, so be it, move on, he isnt that into you anyway if hes on dating sights. dont listen to excuses, just get it over with.
Reply:Go and open a profile on the site under a sexy name and write to him and see what happens.

So you what 100% proof get him to meet for drinks and when he shows up have his bags packed for him. Go back home and move on with your life.

Good luck happy hunting
Reply:Honestly I don't believe it's a test to see if you are the "one". I've seen it time and time again...guys like to see what they can get away with and with the growing popularity of online dating sites and other sites like myspace...it's all too easy to look for others.

Exactly how long was he signed up on this dating site and is he still active? Was this in the beginning of your relationship?

Clearly there is a trust and honesty issue...good luck!
Reply:You can't trust him...he's cheating on you and he will always cheat on you ...move on theres more fish in the sea.
Reply:Are you 100% sure that he was on this site %26amp; wrote to 2 girls while you were together? If so, dump him, that's cheating in my book.
Reply:You need to get out now. He is already trying to find someone new don't wait for it to happen. You don't know if he has been going out with these woman. He might bring you home some std.Just think about it.
Reply:My ex did the same thing. He's vietnamese and joined this vietnamese dating site. He said it was to meet friends but I knew it was a lie. He wrote tons of people and they were all girls. He denied looking for girls online too but the messages said different. I guess it's one thing if he's only written 2 girls but if he's on a dating site he's obviously still looking. You should seriously confront him about that. If you confront him and tell him it makes you upset, he'd understand and quit if he really loves you. My ex used to play games with my head by denying everything when I asked and then turning the blame on me and making me feel horrible about myself so I would drop the subject. If that sounds familiar, you need to dump him ASAP!! Don't put up with that. Either he is all yours or not. He can't be yours and still on the market.
