Internet Dating and meeting the right one?

Ive done internet dating for about a year know and in that time ive met 17 men how come some people seem to be able to meet the one easily and for me i seem to meet the wrong ones. By the way i dont put myself in danger when i meet them i always meet them in busy places and get someone to ring me after an hour or so to check if im ok.

Remember, in real life if you walked into a bar of 17 single men how likely is it that one of those is Mr Right? Very unlikely! So don't give up hope, keep your eyes open and your options open :)

Reply:I was like you desperate to meet someone and guess what i met a guy off the net and thought he was the right one, but it turned out he would still be up for meeting other women and sit on dating websites. your meeting them in the wrong place, thinking ur going to get a relationship from a guy you meet on the internet is sooo gulable! you've hit the nail on the head by saying they are all after one thing. i have met about 10 and all of them have deep secrets. ive learned through getting my heart broken that i need to meet guys the normal, healthy way and not resorting to a site/sites that will give me men with issues/problems. I loved my boyfriend and he was profile and internet mad! he would always continue to be still sat on the internet even though he had me. Dont trust or date a guy who uses profiles and msn because its always handed out to them on a plate and if they meet you who else could they be meeting? ur lucky ur single and have the chance to do something about the next man in ur life, take my advice because the internet left me insecure, lack of trust and a terrible break up, do not meet guys off the net. some blunt advice. dont end up being like me bitter and sad! get yourself out around the town centre and meet normal guys. the internet is sex and it sells very well! good luck x

Reply:I am into internet dating as well and met plenty of girls. never met the right one. I guess that is no the place to meet people for relationships, seems like all people there are just looking for fun. but maybe it depends on what website you use.

Reply:I have tried internet dating before and like you I haven't got very far with it, some of the guys will be bachelors forever! Then again my friend met her husband to be on line they get married in March!
